BY FERRY - The most unusual and fun way to arrive in Cromarty is via the Cromarty Queen ferry that crosses the Cromarty Firth between Nigg and Cromarty. Launched in May 2011 by the actress Penelope Keith, this purpose-built four-car ferry is one of the smallest car ferries in the British Isles and is also the only ferry service on the Black Isle. It runs daily from May - September. It leaves Cromarty on the hour and the half hour and leaves Nigg at quarter to and quarter past each hour from 8am - 6pm (7pm during July and August).

It is also available for licenced evening cruises for a maximum of 50 guests. Please contact Tom Henderson directly on 07717 207875.
