Hogmanay Dinner!

Join us to celebrate the end of 2020 with a delicious Hogmanay Dinner at the Royal. 

 

Family-friendly tables available from 5pm - 7.15pm in our Lounge Bar restaurant (children's menu available). 

Tables available in our Dining Room (for one sitting only) at 7.30pm.

 

Here's the menu...

 

Chilled Vichyssoise (V).

Salmon & lobster terrine, dill & lime crème fraiche, melba toast.

 

Wild mushroom risotto, fresh parmesan, soft poached egg, basil oil (V).

 

Warm salad of duck & figs, seasonal leaves, orange vinaigrette.

Champagne soaked strawberries with champagne sorbet (V).

Ross-shire fillet of beef, portabello mushroom, vine tomatoes, crispy onions,

au poivre sauce, pont neuf potatoes.

 

Baked North Sea halibut, garlic & ginger bok choy, toasted sesame seeds,

Parisienne potatoes, grapefruit beurre blanc.

 

Vegetable wellington, sauté baby potatoes, mushroom cream sauce (V).

 

Collops of Sutherland Venison saddle, fine green beans,

Parmentier potatoes, bramble & thyme jus.

Rosemary-infused lime posset, vanilla shortbread.

 

Chocolate truffle torte, raspberries, butterscotch ice cream.

 

A trio of local cheeses, pear jelly, grapes,

Highland Crackers’ original seeded crackers, Cromarty Bakery cheese oatcakes.
